Budget Reconciliation Financing Act of 2011House Bill 72 (Chapter 397, Acts of 2011) This Act prohibits the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) from renewing or transferring registration of a vehicle until the applicant has paid all undisputed taxes and unemployment insurance contributions payable to the Comptroller or the Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR), in a manner satisfactory to the Comptroller or the Secretary of DLLR. This Act prohibits the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) from renewing a driver's license until the applicant has paid all undisputed taxes and unemployment insurance contributions payable to the Comptroller or the Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR), in a manner satisfactory to the Comptroller or the Secretary of DLLR. MVA shall coordinate with the Comptroller and DLLR to develop procedures and adopt regulations to implement this new legislation. Effective Date: This Act will take effect June 1, 2011. |
